About The Author

Timo G. was raised in the church but led astray early on. Terms like self-will and God’s will were not introduced to him until much later in life. He was led to believe that the world and its wants would lead to happiness, but after striving to acquire, he found himself unfulfilled, exhausted, and sick.

He had to find a new way to live. He sought and found many keys through those who took the time to share them. Helping others find relief from the suffering that plagues so many of us has now become his inspiration to write and to pay forward the keys imparted to him. Peace is possible, and it’s not so much what we’ll do, but how we’ll do it moving forward that gives life new meaning.

Timo G. grew up inside a church, but no one taught him how to be at peace. The world around him, his family, his friends, the culture he breathed, all said the same thing. If something hurts, fix it. If you’re uncomfortable, do something about it. Push harder. Apply yourself. You want a good life? Then go earn it.

So he did. He pushed, he forced, he tried to control his way to peace. Every discomfort became a problem to solve, every restless feeling became a signal to act. He worked more, acquired more, and achieved more, yet the same hollow hum followed him into every room.

The harder he pushed, the harder life pushed back. He collided with people, with circumstances, with himself. Until one day, he hit a wall that stopped him cold. Not a small wall, but one that cracks you open. He had nothing left, no plan, no energy, no next step.

For the first time in his life, he sat down to figure things out, just to sit. And in that stillness, something unexpected happened. He met someone he’d never really met before: himself. Not the striver, not the fixer, just him. Tired, confused, hurting and real.

That meeting didn’t solve everything overnight, but it opened a door. He started looking inward instead of outward. He stopped fixing and started listening. He found compassion for the person who needed it most: himself.

This book is what he found on the other side of that wall. If you’re tired of pushing, this book is for you.
